MooLog

Capture your mood and a passing event in just a few taps. Built around the simplest constraint of all — making the habit last.

  • mobile
  • journal
  • wellbeing

MooLog goes all-in on one idea — let the user log mood and moment in a few taps, period. I pushed everything else out of the way so the habit had a chance.

Why I built it

Mental-log and journal apps are plentiful, but none of them work if they do not stick. Three seconds to open, five seconds to close — at that cost, a month of entries already changes the view.

What I tuned

  • Input is a mood icon plus one short line, full stop
  • Visualisation is at the week and month grain, where real patterns show
  • Reminders are gentle — nothing that makes "you should be writing" creep in

What I am seeing

This wasn't on the roadmap, but MooLog often acts as an onboarding ramp for people who later move to fuller journaling apps like RPG Diary or Sodalio.
