Logadia
An RPG-inspired location journal that lets you save real places you have visited as "save points," with photos and notes shared across a party of up to 12.
A trip, a walk, a good meal, a place you stumbled upon and loved — instead of dropping a pin on a map, what if you could save it the way a game saves your progress? That idea became Logadia: an RPG-inspired location journal built around save points.
Why I built it
Plenty of apps let you record places you have been, but most are built around search and reviews rather than a feeling for your own footprints. Logadia borrows the language of RPGs — "saving" a place with a photo and a note — so that your personal adventure map slowly grows into something worth looking back on.
What I cared about
- A simple flow to save your current location as a save point, with a photo and a short note attached
- Parties of up to 12 people from a single invite code, so everyone's saves show up on the same shared map
- Twelve pixel-art adventurer icons to choose from, adding a small bit of story to every save
- A privacy-first design: location is only ever shared at the moment you explicitly save it — nothing runs in the background
- An adventure log and visit stats to look back on where and when you have been
What is next
Beyond solo logging, I want to grow this into a gentle way for family, friends, and partners to share the places that mean something to them. I am gathering feedback from real trips and everyday walks to fine-tune how saves and the map itself should feel.
