Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile app "KOCCHI" ("App") provided by YokkoLab (operated by Satoshi Yokokawa, "we").

1. Acceptance

These Terms apply to all use of the App. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service Description

KOCCHI is a location-sharing radar app that shows the direction and distance to your family and friends nearby and lets you send "Over here!" signals. Location sharing is per group and occurs only while sharing is on and the App is open in the foreground.

3. Accounts

Sign-in is anonymous. You are responsible for your device and for managing your group's invite code.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features are offered as a paid Premium plan (monthly/yearly, with a free trial). Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled through the App Store / Google Play. A free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

The direction and distance shown by the App are estimates based on GPS, compass and UWB, and may be inaccurate or delayed depending on conditions. Do not rely on the App in emergencies or for any safety-critical purpose.

7. User Content

You represent that you have the necessary rights to the information you enter (such as your nickname) and grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the App.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend your use of the App without prior notice if you violate these Terms. You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as needed. The updated Terms take effect when posted on this page.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
